Ultra fast heated treated coil springs! Keep a few handy just in case ours ever breaks and you can avoid the cost, inevitable delay and chance of loss that are all par for the course when it comes to returning automatic knives to the manufacturer for warranty service. These coils will also speed up most pre 1996 coil fired knives from the various makers.
Large aftermarket coil spring
Large coil springs fit:

Benchmade - 1000, 2000, 3000, 9000, 9050, 7500, 9100, 9700
Boker - *large Top Lock Autos
Dalton - All coil fired size openers
Microtech - L-UDT', Hawk, Vector, Kestral
Paragon ATKO 1, ATKO 2, ATKO 3, Cobra and the full size X-Olite.
Pro-Tech - All coil fired size openers
S&W - 1000, 2000, 1250, 1260
And most all other large frame coil fired auto openers from various manufacturers.

*Some top lock autos may require additional work to fit the spring to the blade.
Medium aftermarket coil spring

Medium coil springs fit:

Benchmade - 2500, 2550, 3200, 3500
Boker - *small Top Lock Autos
Paragon ATKO 4, ATKO 5, and the Mini X-Olite.
S&W - 1251, 1500
And most all other small frame coil fired auto openers from various manufacturers.

*Some top lock autos may require additional work to fit the spring to the blade.
