"Cannot be sharpened!"This trainer is made in USA. Alloy metal handles and the blade is the same thickness at the top and bottom so it's extra heavy but the latches are loose so they aren't quite perfect and don't lock open or closed very well - but they are trainers so that's about the last thing you need anyhow is a latch that works.
