New for 2012 the HALO 5 is an extra heavy duty field grade version of its predecessors with added inches to the blade/handle OAL and extra spring power to drive the extra thick blade. Other features include a modified tanto point S30V double ground blade and a checker pattern button for positive grip when opening. If you're new to the HALO series, this OTF auto fires by pressing the button via a highly compressed heat treated steel propulsion spring. To release the blade from the locked out position you press the button then pull back on the charging lever until the blade locks in - then replace the charging lever to it's original position. Each HALO 5 also includes nylon belt sheath as shown (note this is a new model sheath for the HALO) Delivered blade style (color edge etc) exactly as shown.
