New from Ontario Knives! This long time government contract military knife maker has just delivered us these new XM Strike Fighter and they're absolutely rock solid tough field knives just like the rest of the Ontario line. This is a different auto knife and you can feel it right away. Tight tolerances - so tight that when you close the blade there's almost zero down travel after the blade locks - very impressive and seldom seen! And they have the safety right up there where you can access it no problem to double lock the blade either open or closed. The hardware comes all blackened too - clip screws and everything just like it should be. These guys have been watching and put extra clip locations in the four possible locations so they're not going to miss any sales on guys who need a tip up or down carry in either left or right hand. Blade speed is just right - very fast but not too fast and the Tribo coat blade is razor sharp right out of the box. As for handle grip this knife does fit right in the hand a lot better than most knives to the degree it would be pretty hard it to slip in any event. The handles have the same milled out tread patter you find on those run-in-the-rain tires and the finger choil is milled with ridges for even better leverage on the knife's pistol grip handle.
