The new ProTech Defiance dual action auto conceals it's true nature with an auto fire button cleverly hidden under the G10 scale closest to the front side pivot screw. When you push that spot the Defiance's auto mode is in full effect and the cryo treated 154CM blade snaps out with maximum authority with a ratcheting steel on steel sound into the fully locked position - ready for action! The Defiance is auto powered via a heat treated high carbon steel leaf spring that runs the length of the handle. For best results store this an all your favourite auto knives in the open position and fired state when not in use for any extended period time. Do that and hit your mechanisms with an occasional shot of your favourite machine oil (tuff-glide or quick release is best) to the mechanisms and you will enjoy a lifetime of service from your knife!
