SF = Satin Finish, this is a natural silver metal finish done with a scotchbrite wheel where you can see vertical lines on the blade under close inspection. SFS = Satin Finish Serrated, this is a combo edged version of the latter. SW = Stone Wash, this is a silver finish where the blade has been polished in a vat of ceramics. SWS is the combo edged version of the latter. BB = Bead Blast, this is a gray finish where the blade has been blasted with high pressure ceramics and the resulting finish is a subdued gray. BBS is the combo edged version of the above. BT = Titanium coated black. There are several titanium coatings in use today at Microtech such as GT for Green Titanium and there is also a Tan Titanium in use. In all cases the S designator is used at the end to indicate combo edged blade and that will match the knife pictured. T/T is a two-tone finish blade where part of the blade is finished in titanium and part is finished in stone wash or satin fnish. |
