The AKC X-TREME is made with modern materials and an aggressive italian design that has raised the bar for this maker's build quality.
This new automatic model "EVO", short for EVOLUTION, is the modern version of an old OTF Angelo Campolin Sr. made in the 70's for the Solingen/Germany company Otello. The ergonomic black handle and button are made using solid CNC worked 6061-T6 aircraft aluminium. The plain grind blade on this switchblade is made of AUS-8 japanese steel with a HRC of 58-59 and has a satin or PVD coated finish. This OTF fires fast, locks out extremely solid and has minimum blade play.
