Heretic Knives Shop visit & The Gator Cutlery Club Show
Posted by PVK Jeremiah on Feb 4th 2025
This past weekend (Jan 31 - Feb 2nd) I traveled to Florida for the Gator Cutlery Club Show just outside Orlando. This also happens to be in the similar vicinity as the Heretic Knives Shop so i rented a car and took a road trip. Sebastian Florida is about an hour south east of Orlando located on the eastern coast of the sunshine state. This is the home of Heretic Knives, I've been trying to line up a shop tour for a while now and this fit perfectly into the tone of this adventure.

The man himself, Anthony G Marfione owner of Heretic Knives! Seen here in his "Dojo" the grinding room of Heretic Knives. He hand grinds all of the customs that come out of Heretic himself on these very grinders.
Above: A NYX frame with the center milled out for Ultem inserts, these are the new collaboration knives announced at Shot Show 2025 with B&T Firearms. Yes you read that correctly! B&T and Heretic Knives are teaming up to release a special edition B&T NYX.
It was great hanging out with the Heretic Knives crew for the day. I got to look at some awesome new customs coming in the next few months and pickup some knives for PVK while I was there. Heretic has come a long way and continues to serve up amazing production and custom knives at any price. I am looking forward to greatness from this team in this new year, PVK is happy to team up with Heretic on some great projects... Stay Tuned!!
On Saturday I headed to Lakeland Florida for the Gator Cutlery Club Annual show, much like the (Local to me) Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association (NCCA)
I was told this was an amazing show for vintage automatic knives and it did not disappoint at all, there were more original black knives at this show than I have ever seen in the wild or on the shelf. Switchblades were definitely the theme here, vintage Microtech and antique auto of all kind were proudly on display. Collectors were happy to share their collections with the public and fellow knife enthusiasts, this is something I really enjoy about the smaller less "Industry" shows.
