Museum grade and fully functional. Solid Titanium Chasis, Muonionalusta meteorite inlays to the front and back of the handles and blade. This inspiring work of art was crafted in the North Carolina shop of Anthony Marfione in December of 2014. The blade is Bohler-Uddenholm "Elmax" Super Steel and is deeply mirror polished and quite well honed at the edge. The chasis, backstrap/spine and other handle hardware including the dagger marked pocket clip are 6ALV4 aerospace grade titanium.

About the inaly:

Discovered in Sweden in 1910, The Muonionalusta meteorite is carbon dated at 4.5653 billion years and scientists say it hit the earth the earth about 1 million years ago. A 2010 study conducted on the lead isotope in the Muonionalusta meteorite concluded the stishovite (form of quartz) was from an impact event hundreds of millions of years ago: "The presence of stishovite signifies that this meteorite was heavily shocked, possibly during the 0.4 Ga [billion years] old breakup event indicated by cosmic ray exposure...
