DESCRIPTION
Reese Weiland Offset Persian Damascus Balisong Flamed Titanium.
Weiland's Balisongs have always been distinctive with curvy blades and handles and the Persian is no different. A rare sight to see anything but a straight handles on a Balisong, the Damascus blade offsets the Flamed and textured titanium handles.
Reese Weiland joined the Knifemaker's guild in 1988 and has proceeded to explore all types and styles of knives since then. As part of the original Black Knife project Reese has been making and designing mechanisms and riffing on styles for a long time. His work from the original Microtech Hawk, LCC and Combat Talon project over the years has put him in contact with many makers and styles. Reese still works in the almost baron field of automatic knife makers specializing in dual action mechanisms and OTF's.
Reese still uses manual style mills, no CNC here! These knives are products of hand turned and cranked skill, years of understanding materials and tolerances.
