The Mako fixed blade comes from a collaboration between Bastinelli
Creations, Funker Tactical, and Doug Marcaida of History's Forged in
Fire. It's an evolution of Doug's original PicoloMako design which
became the Mako folder and now the Mako fixed blade. It retains elements
from all the designs but stands alone, different from its predecessors.
It's longer, thinner, more capable, yet just as refined.

Bastinelli Creations Custom Pika, PVD Stonewash Blade, Maroon Tsuka Wrap & Menuki
Bastinelli Creations takes utilitarian instruments and reduces them to simple, useful designs with a touch of elegance. They're most known for their Dragotac folding knife, which has a multipurpose flat ground Wharncliffe type blade and an unusually curved, yet incredibly ergonomic grip. Many of their designs share this blade form, but all have outstanding ergonomics and high-quality materials. The Picoeur was a tactically designed backup fixed blade that could be carried virtually anywhere. For optimal control during CQC techniques, it had a short scalpel-like blade, a slender grip, and a pinky ring. The Pika is a Karambit version of the Picoeur and, in our opinion, the best small, concealable tactical tool to have. It may be worn around your neck or on your belt.
