Dauntless Manufacturing
Dauntless Manufacturing, founded in 2017 by seasoned machinists Zach Thull and Chris Moss, originated from a garage in central North Carolina, born out of their shared vision and frustration with industry constraints. With backgrounds in aerospace, defense, and firearms manufacturing, including Chris's tenure at NASA and Zach's experience with the Department of Defense, they combined their expertise to create a new path. Their journey began with a well-worn CNC mill and a licensed knife design from friend Matt Helm, leading to the successful launch of the "Persian," which established their reputation for precision and quality. Today, Dauntless Manufacturing is dedicated to crafting high-performance knives, proudly made in-house, and embodies the resilience and dedication that define the American spirit.
