Poikiloblade is a relatively new knife brand that has recently gained significant recognition, winning two prestigious awards at Blade Show West for their product, the Orca. Founded about three years ago by knife enthusiasts Andy Wang and Vince Wang, the brand focuses on creating unique folding knives, inspired by their passion for balisongs. The Orca knife stands out due to its graceful design, inspired by the orca whale, and features high-quality materials like Bohler M398 steel and a titanium handle. The blade measures 3.6 inches, with an overall length of 8.6 inches, and it utilizes a liner lock mechanism. The name "Poikiloblade" is derived from "Poikilotherm," reflecting their aim to adapt to changing trends within the knife community. Their logo features a chameleon, symbolizing adaptability and vibrancy.
